NO Days Mosaic Adhesive with a Fiberglass Mesh Substrate Click Here to View the NO Days Mosaic Mesh Slideshow Windows Media Player Required for Viewing                    Quick Links:     Order Now     Request Catalog     Contact Us NO Days Mosaic Mesh uses a fiberglass mesh substrate coated with our Heat Activated NO Days Mosaic Adhesive.  NO Days Mosaic Mesh is an easy-to-use bonding solution designed for both interior and exterior mosaics.  NO Days Mosaic Mesh allows you to assembly and cure your mosaic to the mesh substrate while working horizontal.  Once heat cured to the fiberglass substrate, you can easily pick up your mosaic and mount vertically if necessary.  NO Days Mosaic Mesh is a dry-to-the-touch mosaic bonding product and allows you to easily trace your patterns on to the mosaic mesh using a marker.  The capability of tracing your pattern onto your adhesive allows you to accurately place your mosaic or tile pieces onto the mesh substrate assembling your final pattern. With all of the NO Days Glazing and Adhesive Products, NO Days Mosaic Mesh creates a strong, no mess bond and provides superior sealing capabilities preventing moisture and other elements from weakening and damaging your mosaic over time.   NO Days Mosaic Mesh can be applied using the following 3 heating methods.  With all the following heating methods, place white silicone release paper (included with the NO Days Mosaic Mesh) underneath the mesh while heating.  This will prevent the adhesive when heated and cured not to stick to any of your work surfaces.  Option # 1:  Standard Heat Gun - Once your glass or tile pieces are placed on the NO Days Mosaic Mesh, heat with a standard heat gun to cause the adhesive to flow and then briefly cool to fully cure.  Working with the heat gun allows you to either place and heat in sections or assemble your entire mosaic and heat with a heat gun all at once.  After allowed to briefly cool to fully cure, using the heat gun easily allows you to re-work sections by simply re-heating and removing or re-positioning your glass or tile pieces. Option # 2:  NO Days Curing Station - Once your glass or tile pieces are placed on the NO Days Mosaic Mesh, gently lay down the NO Days Curing Station on top of your glass or tile pieces.  The heat generated from the curing station transfers heat through the glass or tile pieces causing the adhesive to flow.  After 10 minutes, remove the curing station and allow to briefly cool to fully cure.  You can re-work by re-heating with the curing station or a standard heat gun. Option #3:  Oven - Once your glass or tile pieces are placed on the NO Days Mosaic Mesh, place your mosaic in the oven for approximately 10 minutes at 220 F (104 C).  Heat generated from your oven causes the adhesive to flow.  Remove your mosaic from the oven after 10 minutes and allow to briefly cool to fully cure.   To re-work individual glass or tile pieces or sections, simply re-heat your glass or tile pieces with a heat gun and remove or re-position.    Ready for Grouting Once your mosaic is cured with one of the above heating methods, your mosaic is now immediately ready for grouting.  There is no special grouting required when using NO Days Mosaic Mesh.  Your glass or tile pieces are securely bonded to the mesh substrate preventing glass or tile shifing during grounting.  You can also grout after mounting your mosaic vertically if necessary. Ready to Mount Vertically. After heating and allowed to briefly cool, your mosaic bonded to the mesh substrate and can now be picked up and mounted vertically if neccessary.  You can hang or bond your mosaic to your vertical wall surface using a variety of common products including cement, ThinSet, mastic or pre-mixed stone/tile mortar.  NO Days Mosaic Mesh is manufactured in Standard Sheet Sizes of 48.00" x 12.00" (122cm x 30.5cm).  All NO Days Mosaic Mesh pack sizes include white silicone release paper to be placed underneath mesh when heated.
