Thermal test – Double Pane window (Fig 3) Test Purpose: To determine the interior temperature of a double glazed window in a high ambient temperature environment and to see if NDG is affected by the temperature

Test conducted in Phoenix, AZ outside of a test facility and exposed to sunlight at 1:00pm on June 16,2007. Ambient temperature was 110°F
|
Interior temperature to = 110o F at 1:00pm (initial temp reading) tf = 142o F at 2:20pm (final temp reading Note: Thermocouple disconnected at 142o F and no sign of melt down was observed.
