NO Days Pre-Glazed Lead and Zinc Products are a revolutionary 2 in 1 system combining a variety of profiles of lead or zinc came and the benefits of NO Days Glaze.  Our lead and zinc products are delivered to you with NO Days Glaze already pre-glazed in the channel with your choice of black, pewter or clear.

NO Days Pre-Glazed significantly reduces the steps and time needed to assemble and cure a stained glass window.........simply assemble, solder your joints and cure using heat to activate the NO Days Glaze using a standard heat gun or the NO Days Universal Curing Station.  After heating, allow the window to briefly cool to fully cure thus creating a 3 side glass/came seal and bond.  Your stained glass window is now ready for interior or exterior placement.

NO Days Glaze has been tested and proven to provide longevity, strength and sealing due to its unique formulation and capability to provide a fixed volume of glaze between your glass and came.  The ability of NO Days Glaze to expand and contract over time with with your glass and lead/zinc came guarantee that your seal and bond won't break down over time and can be exposed to outdoor temperature ranges and areas of high moisture.

NO Special Glass Cutting Required

Pre-Glazed Lead Flat H

There is no special glass cutting required when using NO Days Pre-Glazed Lead and Zinc due to the controlled nominal thickness of NO Days Glaze pre-glazed in the metal came channel.  The nominal thickness of glaze placed in the channel will phase-change from a solid to a liquid when heated with a heat gun or NO Days Universal curing station and will begin to flow around your glass and came surfaces creating a 3 side seal and bond.

Assembling & Heating

Simply assemble your window with NO Days Pre-Glazed, solder joints and heat.  When heating NO Days Pre-Glazed Lead and Zinc Products with the NO Days Universal Curing Station, heat will transfer through the lead or zinc causing the NO Days Glaze to phase-change into a liquid and flow around your glass and came surfaces.  Flat as possible solder joints are preferred when using the curing station to allow the heating plate to make as much contact with the lead or zinc as possible allowing for efficient heat transfer.  When heating with a standard heat gun, concentrate moving hot air at a 45 degree angle (from horizontal glass) up and down the length of where the glass inserts into the came.  When allowed to cool, the NO Days Glaze will begin to phase-change back to a solid and fully cure.

The NO Days Glaze inside the lead or zinc cannot be re-activated by indoor or outdoor temperature conditions due to elevated phase-change temperature of the compound.  For triple glaze stained glass windows, we recommend ventilating the enclosed space to allow consitent air flow and prevent continuous heating of the enclosed space between the 2 outer panes.  Failure to properly ventilate your triple glaze window may result in a "greenhouse effect" thus raising the temperature of the enclosed space.  Ventilation of a triple glaze stained glass window is an industry standard building technique and will ensure longevitiy of your triple glaze stained glass window
