FASTELFILM THERMAL BONDING AND SEALING ADHESIVE FILMS

THERMAL BONDING AND SEALING ADHESIVE FILMS

High Performance Thermal Bonding Adhesive Films
FastelFilm are specially formulated non-thermoset thermal bonding adhesive films that offer a range of melt point temperatures, free standing adhesive film thicknesses as well as base adhesive chemistries. FastelFilm is designed to adhere to a wide range of substrates and capability to be delivered custom designed pre-from outlines as well as sheets or rolls. The ability to fully customize the X, Y and Z direction of the film pad allows to support many assembly markets including medical device & diagnostic, electronics, automotive assembly, textile and other industrial type applications. Due to its non-thermoset design and long storage shelf life, FastelFilm can be installed and heated quickly with many types of standard and custom heating types of equipment.
Pre-Form Die Cut Advantage
We know adhesive pad installation is just as important as adhesive performance. All of our FastelFilm thermal bonding adhesive and sealing films are available in a range of delivery formats that include narrow slit reels, die cut individuals, multiple die cuts per card or die cut reels.

Uniform Bond Line and Clean Approach
Due to its inherent film form, FastelFilm offers a uniform bond line approach and clean installation before and after heating. As a die cut film, FastelFilm can be dropped-in-place and heated. Dispensable adhesive systems can be messy to apply and can require significant clean-up after each installation as well as introduce pockets of trapped air and lack of uniformtiy (less strength) across the surface of the interface.
Dry vs Tacky Film Surface
FastelFilm is available in either a dry or tack film surface at room temperature configuration. The FastelFilm tack versions can be advantageous in scenarios where adhesive pad placement or substrate fixturing prior to heating is a benefit.
Inert and Environmentally Friendly
In today's world, sustainability is key. FastelFilm is an inert thermoplastic based adhesive system and contains no solvent during the manufacturing or filming. Its inert characteristic is both demonstrated before and after heating which makes FastelFilm and ideal candidate for medical device & diagnostic bonding / sealing applications
